One month? Already? Wow that is hard to believe.
In the first month Half Calf has added 2 pounds and 2 inches. Based on the current data set, that is 2 inches per month, so 24 inches per year. That means by the time he is five years old, he will be 9.5 feet tall. I am pretty sure that is how it works…
The other fun story for this week is that Cory got in trouble.
One night at about 2am Half Calf was fussing in his crib. Thao rolled over and said “can you bring him here?”. Cory opens his eyes, looks at Thao and mumbles “no, I don’t think so” and proceeds to fall back asleep… She was pretty mad in the morning and he had no idea why since he had no recollection of this exchange even happening. To be fair, (this is Cory writing), I did answer her question; no, I was not capable of bringing him to the bed apparently.
We have also rotated out family members. Thao’s dad, sister and nephew have returned to Georgia and we have a different sister with us now. And the other subtle change is that now we all fit in the car so are more able to get out of the house and do things. However this is the last full week of that; we will be “family-less” in a few days so things will change for us yet again.
As always, here is the part you actually care about. Don’t forget you can subscribe to updates on the bottom of the right menu. Also, we updated the way the pictures work; hopefully you all like this better (and we will convert the layout on the older posts too in case you ever go back to look at older ones).
